He is our education minister?

Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein’s statement at the UMNO general assembly that the process of independence and later developments were forged by “Umno and our Malay Rulers and no one else” received some response by MCA.
I guess the UMNO general assembly makes ones brains freeze temporarily! This joke is the Malaysian Education Minister, well only in bolehland an ignorant mule like him will make such statement and will become a minister.
It was quoted in STAR that Lee Wei Kiat who is MCA information and communications bureau chairman, said that the country’s independence was forged through the close cooperation of leaders of the Alliance party and was not the sole effort of Umno in response to Kerismudin's statement. He hopes that Hishammuddin’s remarks are not aimed at gaining political mileage for himself after winning the Umno vice-presidency on March 26 and urged the minister to show that he was a leader of all Malaysians and not just an Umno leader. That is all you got, Lee?

Hey Lee, you must be blind too, he even raised and kissed his Keris and said he is going to keep it as a souvenir! They call your race pendatang and Rais Yatim said that it is UMNO's turn to enjoy the country wealth after the chinese were enjoying it for a long time and you people do not do anything about it. Guess you all have no guts after all. I reckon MCA deserve this treatment by UMNO. A word of solace well you guys are not bad compared to your BN counter part MIC, as usual they say nothing as I think they may not understand Bahasa Malaysia properly or play ignorant. As usual, Malaysia Boleh!

Police Brutality IV

Two Indian youths, P Uthayakumar and K Batmanathan, were allegedly beaten up by the police while looking for the detained brother of one of the youths last Thursday.

This time it happened in Chemor Perak where these two Indian youth who went to the police station to seek one of their brother who was detained were whacked instead by the police. I wonder why is that the Indians are treated differently by the police? Is there any instruction by the IGP to treat any suspected indians differently compared to other suspects from other race?

When is this ever going to stop? What the $@&%@@ are the Indians in Malaysia waiting for, one of theirs to die during police custody? This is the reason why a change of government is necessary to push for reforms! Think again and decide in Kedah and Perak by election.

Bkt.Selambau

New world record for Malaysia again as the Bukit Selambau, returning officer Abdullah Mat Akhir has announced that no objections were filed and as such the seat will see a historic 15-cornered fight - BN's S Ganesan, PKR's S Manikumar and 13 independents.

The independents are: Anuar Abdul Rahim, Radzi Md Lazim, Khamis Awang, A Jayagopal, Tan Hock Huat, T Chandrarajan, S Moganakumar, Husaini Yaacob, Abdul Rahim Abu, L Sarala, M Venason, R Loganathan and Mohd Fazil Abdul Wahab

I wonder why all of the sudden we have many independent candidates in Bukit Selambau? I was told that some of them were planted by the opposition to split the vote! I was having a teh tarik yesterday with some so called politically connected kawan mentioned that there is a bigger persona behind these candidates as they have everything to gain and the rakyat everything to lose! I probed further and this friend of mine confronted that he knew one of the independent candidate personally and asked him to pull out from the election for unity to which the candidate declined saying that he's involved too deep to back off now! Suprised....don't be as this is Malaysia boleh when $$$$$$$$ is involved. When will the nation change?

Selangor Water Scandal

I received this article in my mail which was posted on March 20th, 2009 by Nathaniel Tan in another blog ( it means I am only publishing this without and cause of liability!)

Here’s how I would distill the decidedly murky waters surrounding the Selangor water scandal. If I were the Selangor government, I would hammer these points and these points alone (or maybe even whittle it down even more). The facts are gleamed from a (slightly over wordy) brochure produced by the Selangor State Government.
To recap, the Selangor government is seeking to reacquire previously privatised water concessionaire companies. The Federal Government is offering to do the same, but at a much, much higher price, and under a different set of circumstances.
The long and short of it, if you believe us, is that BN is looking to spend hundreds of millions more of our money in a plan that will only further enrich cronies at the expense of the rakyat. Here’s how:
1 . Under the federal plan:
- there will be a 31% INCREASE in water tariffs, as opposed to a 25% decrease in tariffs under the Selangor plan.
- the Federal Government (ie, us) will take on RM 6.4 billion of debt, currently owed by the water concessionaires.
- there will no longer be 20 cubic meters of free water every month.
2. Here’s what privatised water concessionaire companies like Syabas have been up to:
- Syabas CEO Rozali Ismail’s salary is a whooping RM 5.1 million a year (RM 425,000 a month).
- Pipe purchases worth RM 600 million were made from an Indonesian company, also owned by Rozali Ismail.
- No open tenders for RM 600 million worth of contracts (over 72% of the total awarded).
- RM 51.2 million spent on renovations of the Syabas head office (JKAS, the water regulatory body for Selangor approved expenditures of only RM 23.2 million)
- Between 2005 - 2007, Syabas exceeded its contract value limit by RM 200 million.
The brochure contains much, much more information and numbers, but I think the above says enough.
Clearly, some enormously fat cat cronies are getting paid off like there was no tomorrow - all this at the expense of a rakyat that is suffering and having their backs broken by an economic crisis of epic proportions.
Again, I really think Selangor and Pakatan should focus on this information, put it in a common package, and reiterate it again, again and again via every single medium (including say, billboards) at its disposal.
I’ve likened it before to a number of submarine commission scandals happening right under our noses, only this time, we still have the chance to stop it, if only we work hard enough.
Spread the word!!

Make your own investigation to find out what is the truth as the truth is somewhere out there! Can I apply for the CEO job of Syabas and I'll take a pay cut due to the economic crisis?

Malaysia at a glimspe

There have been a lot of things happening in Malaysia at the moment;

1) Kugan's case has reached a deadlock where no one is yet to be charged
2) MACC is busy prosecuting the perak speaker Sivakumar and the opposition
3) Vel Paari claims that sujatha told him that she took paraquart by mistake
4) Three by elections to determine Malaysian political future
5) Dr.Mahathir wants Khairy out of UMNO Youth race to allow easy path to his son I guess and he said that Najib is the right candidate for UMNO Presidency and Malaysia's next PM
6) News from France that an arm deal linked to model's death
7) Cahaya Mata Sarawak has more deals from the government and it is assumed to have some political connection on the BOD; CM's daugther has the second most expensive mansion in ottawa beleived to be MYR 28 million
8) Muhammad Muhammad claims that he can speak English; even said to have passed cambridge exam and graduated first class in history from university Malaysia
9) Elizabeth is meeting Datuk Khalid to decide her fate
10) And the latest, no politician is interested in governing the country but busy politicising and raping the people. I think the people deserve this treatment cause we voted for them and now they are screwing all of us big time! Serve all of us right!

Hero dies once and a coward numerous times

It has been while I was unable to update my blog as I was busy with my work ( the one that provides food for my family) and also quite wary of MACC coming on me as I have been reading that some 10 people were hauled up by them for sedition on the issue concerning the sultan of perak! That hit me a bit as I thought that I could also be charged either for sedition or treason, then what would happen to my family? Yeah..yeah I know what you folks were thinking; that I am a coward, well I am a coward. Whats wrong with being a coward? All of us are afraid of something or another in some way!
I was afraid that if I continue to write my thoughts, I could possibly be penalised even though they may be true in nature. Just take a look at PKR, he'll possible be charged either way and mind you he is a royalty, but who am I?I am just a small fry ( cicak kobeng mah).
So I hid my lap top away from my sight as i may be tempted to write again from being getting myself into trouble and more so my other half reminded me to stay away from my laptop as she was worried that she may be running up and down either to the police station or the courtroom. So there it goes, you'll know thatI was hidding for a while than a thought striked me, so what? So what if I am hauled by the authorities, what is that they'll possible do to me as I reflected upon Gandhi's saying" You can hurt my flesh and bones but you'll never have my obedience". Damm right he is there are many in history like him; Martin Luther King,Nelson Mandela & Steven Biko of Africa and our own Raja Perta Kamaruddin & Uthaya of Hindraf who made a difference to the last general election in Malaysia.
If only more Malaysian could stand up for what is right & fair, we can make a difference to this peaceful land! I amnot usre what others are going to do but I decided that i am going to do my bit;Ayam & bag.(as per Semi Value's sign language)

Kugan Revisited

An independent post-mortem report conducted by a pathologist commissioned by A Kugan's family indicated that the police detainee died of kidney failure due to severe beating.Kugan who died while being questioned in police custody on Jan 20 was initially told by the Serdang Hospital authorities that he had died due to liquid in his lungs.

According to the post-mortem report, the beating caused a breakdown in Kugan's muscle cells, which then congested the blood flow which in turn caused a kidney failure and pictorial evidence also showed that Kugan suffered from massive internal bleeding due to severe beating.

So will the Doctor who administer the post mortem be questioned and the Chief of Police who lied to the rakyat be charged in court now? Or do we have to wait for another death before both the government and Syed Hamid Albar to lift their finger and literally not their middle finger! The rakyat is watching your next move.
