Hindraf -another joke of Indian leaders

Recently there have been spat among the Hindraf leaders, who were once respected and even adored by the entire Indian community but now they are as if fallen heroes or angels. Each and every one of them is calling each other to declare their assets either in their personal capacity or in bank account!
A bunch of idiots who call themselves professional yet behave like scavengers going at each other’s neck. It is true what UMNO and Mahathir said that the Indians will never come under one umbrella as each and everyone wanted to start a political party.
Just listen to what Vasanthakumar said: "I'm the sole owner of Hindraf Enterprise with a single bank account in RHB bank in my name. Ganabatirao said: "Waythamoorthy is playing a Tom and Jerry game and demanded Waythamoorthy to disclose the full details of the money collected on behalf of the Hindraf 5's families after their ISA arrest. On the other hand Waythamoorthy recently also sent another letter of demand to Ganabatirao's brother Papparaidu demanding that Papparaidu return RM50,000 belonging to Hindraf.
Vasanthakumar said Hindraf coordinators made massive collections through fund raising dinners and the sale of Hindraf paraphernalia in the name of the families but not a single cent was given to them and now they claim it is in Hindraf's accounts," he said. In addition, he also wants Waythamoorthy, who is currently in London, to return the RM110,000 that was collected by Papparaidu and banked into the account of Kumar Hashimah & Co on Dec 18, 2007. Sivanesan, I think the Perak guy asked for proof as to when Waythamoorthy was appointed or elected as Hindraf chairperson.
I now believe that the Indian community in this country is doomed forever as this proofs that they can’t work together and every Indian wanted to form a political party or wanted to lead the community. They a bunch of selfish individuals or shall I say bastards! @#$&@ the stupid Indians who always fall prey to such scams.

State of schools in Malaysia

Recently there was a write up about how refugee children are suffering from inadequate school facilities. I sympathise with these children but how is it any different from our own Malaysian children.
After 52 years of Independence there are still schools in Malaysia which are not fully aided and worst still there are some schools in empty tanker and abundant estate houses or best still in a rented shop lot! Ironic isn’t it, after 52 years or independence and with the new 1 Malaysia slogan there are children in our home soil who do not have a proper schools and facilities to study.
The Likut Tamil School rental for the shop lot is paid via donations collected by the Parent-Teachers Association from the community and well-wishers. There are Tamil Schools without water supply and even without field to play and yet they have a Physical Exercise (PE) Class? The poor state of the minority in this country and I wonder would it happen to a Sekolah Kebangsaan?
How about the schools in Sabah and Sarawak, what conditions are these children gaining knowledge? I just came to understand that if you are an Indian government servant who is transferred to Sabah, their children were not eligible for free text books and for the Health Department forms, they are placed under the 'Lain-lain' category along with the children of the illegal immigrants. This is our 1 Malaysia in the making!

SPM Decision Making

The flip-flop decision by the government and the cabinet on the SPM total number of subjects allowed depicts how the present government and its ministers make decision on issues pertaining national interest. First our DPM said that they have decided to allow only 10 subjects for SPM examination and this caused a furor among certain fraction of the society questioning the reason behind the decision as it seems to be a subtle move by the government to see vernacular languages to lose its official recognition at the SPM level thus both Mandarin and Tamil language to have a natural death.

After the outcry by the public the Deputy Education Minister said that the cabinet decision is final but the schools can have their own language classes and exam and mind you this is coming from a deputy education minister? The objections continued as some NGO’s were planning for a protest walk on the 12th Dec 09 and MIC was involved in a democratic discussion to resolve this issue with PM according to MIC President Datuk Samy Velu. What democratic discussion we don’t know, any way Muhyiddin Yassin took a U turn in saying that students now can include Chinese or Tamil and Chinese or Tamil literature subjects among the 10, but they will not be counted as "officially recognized" subjects. He further explain with an example that students can take 11 or 12 subjects but only 10 subjects would be counted for purposes of scholarships and other matters and additional subjects might be useful if someone wants to be a Tamil teacher and wants to show qualifications.

This is how our Cabinet and Ministers make decision no wonder our FDI has been declining for the last century and we the Rakyat have entrusted our nation and our future in the hands of these clowns! God Save Malaysia.

Malaysian Migration Issue

Recently the Deputy Foreign Minister Kohilan Pillay said that the number of Malaysians who have decided to emigrate abroad has almost doubled this year to 304,358 from Mac 2008 to August 2009. A total of 3,800 Malaysians have given up their citizenship and simply opted to leave the country of their birth. Furthermore it has been noted that almost 50 % who left are professionals who have chosen to seek greener pastures abroad, citing better pay and working opportunities as well as marriage as the most common reasons given. I guess this possibly could be due to commentaries by our polished politicians “ if you don’ like it, leave it’!
Five of my university friends have migrated to the US,UK and Australia with an addition of one leaving end of Dec 09. I asked him why after all this years is he leaving. He answered “ I’ve lost faith in this country. I have struggled on my own for too long and have experienced discrimination all along yet hang on all this years to see if things would improve but I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel after witnessing the turnaround of events under the current government. I’m done with Malaysia”. He has been a dear friend of mine for the last 40 years and now he is leaving to Australia! This is the political maturity of this government for not looking at themselves and asking what has Malaysia done so wrong for this entire people to leave. I doubt they neither have the intelligence nor intellect to reflect upon this issue!I am one of them who went abroad but came back as I love Malaysia, so I thought! I wonder at times why I ever returned.

Let me quote what Farish Noor said in his article” Malaysia is most in danger not when it is invaded, but when Malaysians themselves have lost faith in it”.

You Misunderstood

Mohd Nazri the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department says that Deputy Premier Muhyiddin Yassin statement recently regarding BTN was 'misunderstood' when he said recently that BTN courses are not 'brainwashing' sessions and the programme should be continued. “I don't think he mentioned that. You probably misunderstood it. What he meant was BTN as a department is good, but we have to change the curriculum because now we have 1Malaysia concept.
"The curriculum cannot focus on one racial group,” said Nazri, disclosing that he had attended one such course previously yet he refused to elaborate when asked his personal opinion of that course. “To me the curriculum is not in line with what the PM wants, which is 1Malaysia. You have the BTN courses for students mostly from one racial group but now we want (an) inclusive curriculum,” he reiterated. “It is important for the courses to be inclusive of all races, as the government now stresses on racial integration. So you cannot have just one race attending these courses, although others were invited. Now we have to reflect the 1Malaysia concept.”
Now the cabinet has agreed to revamp the content of the controversial Biro Tata Negara (BTN, or National Civics Bureau) programmes to fall in line with the prime minister's 1Malaysia concept.
Funny though that all the UMNO Ministers were supporting BTN publicly; Muhyiddin, Mukriz,Ahmad Zahid, Sharizat and others but now it’s a U-turn by the government citing that BTN may need to be reviewed to reflect Najib’s 1 Malaysia. Aneh tapi benar,“ You mis-understood”, which means that all the reporters are stupid as not to understand the language that was spoken by the DPM Muhyiddin!

Prostitutes-pimps and patriot

Umno’s version of history teaches us that Chin Peng was an enemy of the nation and thus has been banished. The irony of the matter is here is a freedom fighter who gave the best years of his life to the country to expel colonisers and invaders only to find himself being judged and deemed unsuitable and unworthy of returning to his home and to the country for which he put his life on the line.
Instead, we have a cadre of and generation of self-absorbed, over-inflated egos who could never fathom the meaning of the word sacrifice, let alone put their foot forward to genuinely serve the needs of the people, being self-righteous about judging Chin Peng. A man who was in the trenches fighting for our nation is being judged and deprived of his birth-right by some who have acted like political prostitutes by having sold-out the rights of large segments of the citizenry.

These political prostitutes – and the political pimps they have served – have done immeasurable harm to our nation socially, economically, and politically. Nevertheless, they remain empowered to exert the kind of arrogant contempt for one who should rightly be regarded a freedom fighter and a living legend.
Many of these power-obsessed politicians of today, born with a silver kris in their hands and a golden spoon in their mouths, and who wrap themselves up in the garb of a vile and toxic nationalistic rhetoric, lack any comprehension of the meaning of sacrifice for the good of the nation and its people.

Ministers Supporting Twisted BTN

The courses conducted by the Biro Tatanegara (BTN) or National Civics Bureau do not contain any element of racism, Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi came to its defence today and he said he had attended many of these courses and had also been an instructor himself. He being a instructor wonder how the delivery would have been?"I do not see any element of racism there," Of course you can’t see any as you are blind as an owl! Ahmad Zahid also said the ban could be due to anxiety of the opposition leaders over the people's support in the state."They are apparently afraid of the people losing confidence in their leadership," Dai, Zahid, What does the ban of BTN got to do with people losing confidence? This kind of statement would only come half pass Ministers from UMNO. Let’s hear from another UMNO goon the so called Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Ahmad Maslan, he said the Selangor government's decision would deny the opportunity for the relevant civil servants and students to learn more about the country and its policies."BTN has never belittled any community.
If it does not belittle the other community then why are you afraid to review and revise BTN to reflect the truth and talking about the truth, he claims that the information disseminated at the courses were from historical facts and data garnered from relevant agencies and experts, and the syllabus involved training based on noble values aimed at making the participants citizens who could contribute to nation-building.
Is he talking about the twisted history being created by the UMNO run government where the Non-Malays history only existed from the 19th century and not before that?Does your history talk about pre Melaka era? Do you teach students of Vijayanagara Kingdom , or King Sialandra and his vast empire in South East Asia? Do you also talk about the contributions by the Non-Malays in building the nation to what it is today? Get real
The Shah Alam branch of Peninsula Malay Students (GPMS) said the Selangor government move was contrary to democratic principles and restricted the freedom of students. Now he wants to support democracy thus allowing students to listen to what BTN got to say ! He doesn’t want the state government to drag this into a political issue! Interesting, I guess these are same people who dragged the Selangor Menteri Besar suggested to include Non-Malays into UiTM as political some time ago! Change is only constant element and change will come to this nation and only then true Malaysians shall stand tall and proud.

Mahathir the Mr. Clean..no more

Malaysia has squandered an estimated RM100 billion on financial scandals under the 22-year rule of Dr Mahathir Mohamad, according to a new book about the former prime minister was the heading in Malaysiakini. Its strange to read about the man who is regarded as the Father of Modern Malaysia is implicated with squandering such a large sum of money!
According to Barry Wain, author of the soon-to-be launched 'Malaysian Maverick: Mahathir Mohamad in Turbulent Times', direct financial losses amounted to about RM50 billion. This doubled once the invisible costs, such as unrecorded write-offs, were taken into account. The RM100 billion total loss was equivalent to US$40 billion at then prevailing exchange rates.Barry, who is a former editor of the Asian Wall Street Journal, says most of the scams, which included a government attempt to manipulate the international tin price and gambling by Bank Negara on global currency markets, occurred in the 1980s.
So Mr Clean is not clean after all,Aneh bin ajaib!

Why Islam still is a taboo for non-muslims

Malaysia is not a country that lacks controversies from the Mongolian affair, multiple corruption stained projects, missing PI, dying detainees under police custody to body snatching at the hospitals. One that seems to make the headlines frequently is of conversions of non-Muslims under dubious circumstances.
Today a mother of two claims that she was unwittingly converted to Islam by state religious authorities when she was a child at the age of 7 while residing in a welfare home in Kepala Batas,Penang.
S Banggarma, whose Muslim name is Siti Hasnah Vangarama Abdullah, said she discovered this when she went to register her marriage in 2000 when she was told that she converted to Islam in 1989!
She was born as a Hindu and her birth certificate stipulates that she was born on Aug 13, 1982 to plantation worker B Subramaniam and Latchumy Ramadu. She was apparently converted to Islam before a religious officer representing the state Islamic council in 1989. However, Banggarma could not recall the incident and claimed that she was always praying and living like a Hindu even while in the welfare home.
During the press conference, Banggarma also revealed that she was brought to the welfare home together with two of her elder brothers and a younger sister when they found them sleeping on the roadside in Kepala Batas by welfare officers.
I just could not understand how someone at the age of 7 years would understand about religion and why is that some overzealous religion officer could convert a child who is 7 years old? Is there a promise that if they do so, they are assured a place in heaven?
Until and unless the Muslim community does not stops such an act, the non-Muslim will forever be uncomfortable of Islam and the Muslim at large.

Our Country's Best

Recently I received a mail from a friend which depicts how our top SPM Malaysian student fared in their University examinations overseas! Nur Amalina Che Bakri sponsored by Bank Negara Malaysia to do A-levels at the Cheltenham Ladies College and study medicine in the United Kingdom failed her second year medical study at the University of Edinburgh. What went wrong?
While passing and failing examination is part and parcel of a student’s life, yet this case is particularly alarming, as this student is supposed to be top echelon. I am not sure if this is an isolated case as I hear many among the JPA's scholars have failed either in their first year or the second year or eventually unable to complete their studies and return home! What possibly could be the reason? Is it because of their command of the English language or is that our school system do not produce quality students?
If the students who scores a number of distinctions (A's in Malaysia) in a public exam shoud be able to cope with the tertiary education anywhere in the world considering that they are top notch students from Malaysia. If Malaysia continues to embark on projects of the tallest and the biggest or just focus on plain numeric superiority instead of to challenge the students to think, provoke them to create their own opinions, there can never be an international leader in any field or industry emanating from Malaysia. If the present system could not produce one in the last 20 years I am not sure if it ever in the next 100 years? I doubt the present Minister or the Government have the political will to bring this change! Waste of public funds and by the way we don’t hear of Singapore scholars failing in their studies overseas. Bikin malu sama nama Malaysia! Satu lagi project BN!

Satu lagi projek UMNO/BN II

The STAR quoted that the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is now set to probe the RM6bil Ipoh-Rawang electrification and double track rail project, which has a cost overrun reaching RM1.14bil. PAC chairman Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid said the PAC was in the midst of determining the scope of the probe and shortlisting those who will be called up in the inquiry. He told The Star yesterday that the double track railway project, which was highlighted in the Auditor-General’s (A-G) 2008 report, was a handful of cases that the PAC would probe.
Asked why the committee planned to probe another project under the Transport Ministry, Azmi said it was not the ministry that was being targeted but big projects which incurred huge losses.“The public is asking questions on losses incurred and we have to do our job,’’ he stressed, adding that the A-G highlighted cases of mismanagement every year and cost overruns but there seemed to be no improvement.
Why is that only now he is doing his job, when he knew that every year it is the same story and by the what what was he doing all this while?

Lets see how the Malaysian government manages multi billion dollar projects;

1)The contract between DRB-Hicom and the Government was signed on April 2, 2001
2)The project however suffered problems which caused numerous delays, resulting in the government terminating the contract with DRB-Hicom and appointing UEM Construction Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of UEM (M) Bhd, to take over the project from 1 June 2005.
3) In May 2006 he government paid DRB-Hicom a sum of RM425mil as compensation for their termination.
4) Another sub-contractor Mitsui had also submitted a claim for compensation for being unable to carry out part of the project because of the delays to civil works with the government settling on an undisclosed sum in December 2006.

So, this is how the government runs "satu lagi project oleh kerajaan BN", I guess may be since the great Mahathir's period, the so called Bapa Permodenan Malaysia?

It is not an oil royalty

Did you all read or hear Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's claim that Kelantan is not entitled to oil royalty for the petroleum and liquefied gas extracted beyond the state's shores as state's waters was defined as waters located within three nautical miles from the low watermark or offshore. So there you go Kelantan and Terengganu, the payment that you receive is considered "Wang Ehsan" or 'compassionate payments' and not royalty.
If Kelantan and Terengganu are not worthy of receiving royalty then how about Sabah and sarawak as the oil production in Sarawak especially, is being conducted beyond the three nautical mile line? So will the government need to change it as ‘compassionate payments’ as the PM has reclassified the terminology!
The possible implication, could be that while oil royalty payments had to go directly to the Sabah and Sarawak state governments, ‘compassionate payments’ could instead be taken over and disbursed by federal government agencies which means that they will be at the mercy of the federal government.
According to the Petroleum Development Act 1974, 50 percent of the oil revenue from an oil-producing state is to be given to that state. I do hope that the leaders in Sabah and Sarawak do something about this or else it means that they are merely rubber stamps of the federal government. May be Sabah but sarawak with its CMS, not sureloh!

Another bright spot in parliament

Flyovers, including those built along the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) were designed to last between 100 and 110 years said Works Minister Shaziman Abu Mansor."I might not be around to see it last but based on the ultimate design, the main structure can last for such a period."However, there are things beyond anybody's control like a natural disaster. In Mississippi, USA for example, a very strong bridge collapsed. But as far as the MRR2 in our country, there were only cracks," said Shaziman when answering a question by Tan Seng Giaw (DAP-Kepong) in the Dewan Rakyat today.
Another idiot Minister in Parliament goving excuses for their incompetencies!

Shaziman added that the government can take action against contractors of the project and it was up to the contractor to take similar action against the consultant. Now you see how the TaiChi the problem! Dai all you fellas are connected on thislah, if one of you fall the rest will fall as well like Domino! Cover up..cover up..just like your PM sounding supriced over the PKFZ scam!

The Mamak Speaks Again

Former premier Dr Mahathir today backed the proposal to introduce a single-stream school system in Malaysia, but lamented that the topic was still a taboo. “You cannot even talk about it (merging the three school systems) in this country,” said the 84-year-old former premier, adding that the Chinese educationists were “vehemently” against the idea. He cited
“They must be Chinese first, not Malaysian,”. Mahathir said that only Malaysia has the unique system of having different streams of education as other countries have only one stream despite having large migrant population. He cited United States, Canada and Australia as examples. He also pointed out that even Switzerland, which has three official languages, has an education system which provides for students to learn all three languages in the same school. He went on to say that is the reason why Malaysians cannot achieve unity!
Interesting that Mahathir is taking a swipe at MCA, wonder why? Anyway let’s ask ourselves whether the non-existence of one school system is the cause of disunity among the races or is it due to other reason such as government policies only meant for certain race? If only the government and its leader could wake up and see what they are doing to this beloved country in enhancing disunity! The 1 Malaysia concept will forever be a distant dream as long as this race based politics and partial affirmative policies are not eradicated.

Evening with Zaid Ibrahim

Sembang- Sembang is a NGO based in Penang organized a talk and book launch by Zaid Ibrahim the ex-law minister on the 2nd Nov 09 at Wisma Penyayang. I bought Zaid's book and got it autographed while cracking a conversation.YB Sim Tze was the chairman and introduced Dr.Mansor , the Deputy Chief Minister of Penang and Zaid Ibrahim to the audience. It was a packed room and they need to open more space room to accommodate the people who were coming in.
The program started with the firing of confetti which went going wrong for both the Pakatan YB’s; Sim and Dr. mansor as they needed a second try to fire it, I guess it depicts akin Anwar Pakatan’s ambition to march to Putrajaya!
Dr.Mansor talked about the Malaysia’s constitutional democracy which was hailed as one the best during the 1960’s in this region but faded away after UMNO and BN was formed and hold on to power. The formation of two party system during the 1999 election was further enhanced in 2008 which brought about a political tsunami. Thus it laid the ground work for a two party system is ongoing which he believes that shall eradicate poverty, corruption and mis-management of public funds in the future.
Zaid spoke after Dr.Mansor and he mentioned that the two political party is a dream and a dream worth having by Malaysians. We never been short of opposition even in the past and crossover of MPs as the first case happened when the Supreme Court allowed party hopping law under the provision of freedom of association during the great Mahathir period for obvious reasons only know to Mahathir. We need to change this law but it can only be achieved if Pakatan runs the country without which UMNO and BN has no political will to bring about such changes.
PAS,DAP,PKR knew that each party on their own can’t make to Putrajaya so they need to collaborate and work together to make it happen. That reminds of a Beatle songs” We can make work it out” Zaid said and to make it work we need to be friends first. He reiterated that the op leaders wanted to make it work. He went on to say that PAS has no plans to work together with UMNO as their main goal is to kick UMNO/BN from the government yet some PAS leaders do have their own political agenda which is causing some discomfort among the coalition.
Policy formulation would be a test of their commitment as we come from different political parties with differences in ideologies so to work it out it’ll take time and that is what he has been working on now. The first step is to register a political party is under way now yet there are some issues like party symbols i.e Rocket, Moon and Pakatan Eye still being debated by the leaders and it’ll take some time to iron that out. He went on to say that he is good Malay and not a liberal Malay taking jibe at his former UMNO fellas and added that during Pak Lah’s time there was decency in governance but now it is highly questionable!
The Pakatan coalition needs to work on issues and policies and not to champion race or religion if they want to move forward! There is still political fear prejudice amongst the Rakyat and which is real such as the Malays rights, freedom of religion and other issues and all this fears need to be addressed soon thus enable the people to trust each other. It got to start with the parties coming together to trust each other and to work things out first. The panel took various questions from the floor from the Orang Asli Rights, Primary Health Care to land Conversion Law in Penang. There was some hostile audience with one being shouted to sit down when he raise his voice to repeat the question on land scams in Penang, poor chap! I conclude that the message said was to ask the Rakyat to continue supporting Pakatan Rakyat as it is the only hope for a two party system at this moment. There could be many differences both within and among the various parties but it is being sorted out to be strong and furthermore it is newly formed coalition and to have differences is a norm.
Thus it gives us hope that there is a possibility to have a strong two party system which is gets away from the current race based governance! There is still hope for Malaysians!

Gerakan history in the making

(The Star) - Gerakan Youth chief Lim Si Pin has lashed out at his central committee members for failing to turn up in full force for its national delegates conference.

Only 406 youth delegates, or 38.5%, were present and this was the worst turnout in the 22 years since the wing was formed.“This is an alarming and difficult question for us. Why is our turnout so bad this year?” He said many youth delegates gave the excuse that they could not wake up in time for the meeting because this year’s conference had been changed to Saturday mornings instead of Friday evenings previously.

Sudah jadi irrelevant apa nak cakap lagi!Bubar parti dan join a party which beleives in One Malaysia where everyone is created equal and treated as equal!

PM says ignore some UMNO racist remark

It was quoted in The Star - Racist comments from “one or two Umno leaders” should be ignored because the majority of members in the party are not racists, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. The Umno president stressed that the party’s policies had always been fair, inclusive, democratic and open.“Umno is not a racist party. From the beginning, we wanted a multiracial society. Don’t listen to one or two leaders talk; that’s different. Any party has leaders like them.
So it is okay for some MCA,MIC,Gerakan and whatever BN components parties to have few racist leaders! Not forgetting the oppositions, start making racist statements as you can get away with Najib's excuse. If it works for Najib, it must work for others as well.
Only in Bolehland, can a PM will get away with making such a comment.

Another scam wasting public fund

It was quoted in Malaysikini that The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has once again turned its sights on the Transport Ministry by planning to look into the ministry's RM6 billion Ipoh-Rawang double-tracking project.PAC chairperson Azmi Khalid told reporters at Parliament today and the committee is presently investigating the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) project, another controversial undertaking by the ministry.

The double-tracking project was highlighted in the 2008 Auditor-General's report as one that was poorly managed, thus resulting in losses amounting to RM1.4 billion. According to Azmi, the committee was briefed by Auditor-General Ambrin Buang on the annual report yesterday. He added that the transport ministry, under the stewardship of Ong Tee Keat, would be among the first to be called up as the double-track project was "the biggest mismanaged project". "The project has RM1.43 billion of cost overruns and we do not know the reasons behind it. So we want some explanation from the people involved," he said."We will also call the contractors, some of whom who belong to several government-linked companies," he added. He also revealed that the PAC will table its findings on the PKFZ probe in Dewan Rakyat next Wednesday.
So Azmi, what are you going to do about it? This is not the first time the PAC had investigated such mis-management yet no action was taken. All is possible in 1Malaysia, Malaysia Boleh country!

Zahid the UMNO goon

V Sivakumar's role in the 'Pakatan sitting' in the Perak legislative assembly this morning was an act of treason, according to Umno vice-president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Commenting on the commotion created by Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat holding simultaneous ‘sittings', he alleged that Sivakumar had clearly committed treason because he disregarded the command of the Perak sultan.

So Zahid what do you want to tell the sultan, to bar him from Perak, just go ahead. We have no respect for him anyway!
"In my opinion, under Perak laws, the power to dissolve and the power to call for an assembly is under the authority of the sultan of Perak. Hello UMNO crony who asked you for comments, go think how to make money from another submarine ordered from France if you think you can out do the others! You know who I mean.

"I do not think we should tolerate these actions by Sivakumar and his stooges as the legislation should be respected by all parties, whether they are from the opposition or the ruling party," he said.
Know what Zahid, I think the Perakians are coward just like the ruler!
When BN buys over “kataks” one physically challenged and the other two mentally retarded, hence claim that they are legitimate to rule Perak, you must be an idiot to think that we believed what you say! Poorah che!

Malaysian Leaders Comments on tragedy

One pupil drowned and two others are feared missing after a newly-built suspension bridge collapsed into the Kampar River as pupils participating in a 1Malaysia camp were walking across at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kuala Dipang near Kampar last night.
Is this the first incident that has taken lives? This is one of the many that the “rakyat” have to live with for many years and to be precise it’s been 6 years. Well I am not talking about Najib’s 1 Malaysia or his National Service but a program mooted by his guru Mahathir when he was the then prime minister, he was adamant that this programme be carried out to foster "national unity and mutual understanding" among young Malaysians, and all the caution by the general public, civil society and experts against the hasty implementation merely fell on deaf ear. This is nothing new about him, when did he ever listen to the people?Tragically there were 18 young souls who perished in various national service camps since the programme was launched in December 2003.

Let’s hear to some of the so called leader comments about this tragedy!
Education Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced that a team will be formed by the ministry to probe the accident. He said the team will be headed by the Education Ministry director-general Ali Muddin Md Dom. He further mentioned that "What has occurred should not have happened and we want a full investigation into what happened and those responsible to be held accountable," he said. What else is new with this BN Leaders? Either they sweep everything under the carpet or form team to investigate with no outcome!
The backdoor Menteri Besar Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir visited the scene of the accident last night and ordered an immediate investigation.

"The suspension bridge was newly built. We want to know if it was built to specifications as it collapsed after a metal pillar got ripped off the ground," he said. He wants to inspect now after the incident? What was he doing

If this were to happen in any other country including Bostwania it would have been axed but not in Malaysia, as Malaysia Boleh! To rub salt into the wound, Najib Abdul Razak as defence minister argued the number of deaths during NS was "a small percentage" compared to the 339,186 trainees who had "benefited" from the programme by May 2008.This is the leaders mindset, they want your children to be sacrificed to ensure their programs are successful. Only in Malaysia a leader could get away with such statement!

Lingam's case closed, PM says so!

(NST) - KUALA LUMPUR: Legal action will not be taken against prominent lawyer Datuk V.K. Lingam for lack of evidence and testimony in the findings of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Lingam tapes.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak told Parliament the findings of the probe were not substantial enough to initiate legal proceedings. In a written reply to Lim Guan Eng (DAP-Bagan) in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday, he said there were several factors tied to the issue that had thwarted efforts to move ahead with the case. He said no evidence was found to prove abuse of power in judicial appointments as presented in the then Anti-Corruption Agency’s investigation report on the issue.

“Hence, the Attorney-General’s Chambers ruled that there would be no further action (in the matter. Najib said investigations commissioned under the Official Secrets Act 1972 could not identify any wrongdoing by anyone in the handling of documents related to appointments of High Court judges. Investigations into former chief justice Tun Mohd Eusoff Chin’s New Zealand holiday were also hampered as a key witness could not be found, he added. On alleged false claims for a hotel stay by former chief justice Tun Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abdul Halim, Najib said there was insufficient evidence to back up the allegation.

It must be true if the PM himself mentioned that there is no case due to lack of evidence.Next time if you get caught on video for whatever act, just say" It looks like me, it sounds like me but it is not me". Mr.Chua Soi Lek....please rethink of your strategy to win back MCA Vice Presidency!

NST;KUALA LUMPUR: Who in their right mind would pay RM42,320 for a laptop?

Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara Balik Pulau in Penang not only paid the price but bought two units of the same brand – Acer Aspire-5052ANWXMI, at a whopping price of RM84,640, said the Auditor-General’s Report.

In addition, the college purchased 450 units of computer CAD with network card at RM3.45mil for 12 labs. Each 19-inch monitor costs RM8,500 while a 17-inch monitor costs RM7,500.“A check with local companies showed that the market price for the latest model is between RM5,350 to RM6,500 each. Worse still the computers, Precision 390 Dell, that were supplied are no longer in the market,” it said. Also purchased were 15 laser printers, Hewlet Packard P3005X, at the price of RM7,722 each when the market price was about RM5,000 per unit.In reply, Mara said the equipment were purchased in a lump sump and there was no price breakdown for the laptops. The price breakdown was only done after the equipment was supplied for the purpose assets record and it could not be used as a basis for reference.

“Nevertheless, Mara has created a task force and is conducting a price adjustment for all the equipment,” it said. The report also stated that the college had paid between RM1,398 and RM2,945 for 204 teaching manuals.

“Checks found that the teaching manuals supplied were bound using comb binding. The teaching manuals obtained at a cost of RM358,476 is a waste because they were never used,” it said, adding that the supplier has been notified to provide the original version of the teaching manual in hard cover.

Mara also spent RM2.08mil buying computer software it didn’t need.Audits also found many discrepancies in prices paid for the same equipment, including the same LCD projectors that costs RM3,500 and RM8,000 for two different laboratories.

“Swivel stools were also purchased at three different prices – RM340, RM350 and RM450 per unit and they did not even meet the agreed specifications in the agreement.“Other swivel chairs were bought for between RM810 to RM1,050 per unit when the college had bought the same chair previously at RM336 per unit,” it said.

The report also stated that the German-Malaysian Institute which was picked as the consultant, had proposed a ceiling price of RM84.5mil for the purchase of equipment for the college while the Economic Planing Unit (EPU) fixed the price at RM127.65mil.

“The reason for the higher price was to speed up the process of obtaining the supplies. In the end the agreed contract was fixed at RM112.42mil. Mara had submitted a letter to the Finance Ministry to say that the figure was reasonable.

“Audit found that the agreed price for the purchase of equipment is not reasonable. This is because the approach taken by Mara did not fufill the criteria set by the Finance Ministry, which is to negotiate for the lowest price possible.

If this is how they manage an educational institution, can you imagine how they are managing other agencies, GLC's and the country?Just to mention a few; PKFZ,Sukhoi Fighters,Submarine,Astronaut or space tourist! There goes my tax money, does anyone know how I can stop contributing to Income Tax?

Why PR was kicked out of Perak!

I read this article in MT and reproducing it to your reading pleasure!

If you can remember, it took one week for the Perak and Selangor state governments to get sworn in after the March 2008 general election. The Sultans of these two states wanted to first ‘discuss the matter’ with the Pakatan Rakyat State Assemblypersons. The Sultans then set certain terms and conditions before agreeing to swear in the new Pakatan Rakyat state governments. This gap of one week allowed the old Barisan Nasional state governments time to remove and destroy quite a lot of very damaging evidence of the wrongdoings of the previous governments.

The one-week delay also allowed Barisan Nasional to negotiate the possibility of PAS teaming up with Umno to form the state governments in Perak and Selangor. Umno even agreed that PAS would become the Menteris Besar of these two states. And, to add icing to the cake, Umno even agreed to allow PAS to implement Islamic laws in these two states.

But PAS stayed loyal to their two other partners in Pakatan Rakyat, PKR and DAP, and they declined Umno’s offer. Finally, the two Sultans had no choice but to swear in the Pakatan Rakyat state governments in Perak and Selangor. But this did not stop them from plotting behind the scenes on how to bring down the governments. The Sultan of Selangor was quite prepared to consider the whole matter a fait accompli. After all, Pakatan Rakyat in Selangor had a clear majority and it would be quite difficult to buy off so many State Assemblypersons. But Perak was another matter altogether. Pakatan Rakyat’s majority in Perak was thinner than in Selangor.

As soon as the new state government had been put in place, the Sultan of Perak began asking for this, that and the other. The Pakatan Rakyat Perak state government would have been quite prepared to tolerate some of the demands of the Perak Palace for the sake of maintaining a good relationship with the Palace. But what the Sultan and his family wanted was just too excessive and the Pakatan Rakyat Perak state government had no choice but to say no to the Sultan’s demands.

And this, of course, upset the Sultan. So, when Pakatan Rakyat lost its majority in the Perak State Assembly, it did not take too much persuading for the Sultan to agree to swear in a new Barisan Nasional state government. At first, the Sultan was not too sure whether he should kick out the Pakatan Rakyat state government in favour of a Barisan Nasional government. When the Pakatan Rakyat Menteri Besar, Nizar Jamaluddin, went before the Sultan to request that the State Assembly be dissolved to make way for fresh state elections, the Sultan said he would think about it first. But immediately after that the Prime Minister, Najib Tun Razak, went to meet the Sultan and the Sultan was persuaded to reject the Pakatan Rakyat request to dissolve the State Assembly and instead he swore in Barisan Nasional as the new state government.

Najib’s ‘persuasion’ was simple. Nazrin, his son, should not be the Raja Muda of Perak and this means he should also not be the next Sultan. And in the event that the Sultan dies, as surely he will one day, the federal government will not support Nazrin as the next Sultan of Perak. See what happened to Negeri Sembilan. Although the Yamtuan appointed his son as the regent, this does not mean he becomes the next Yamtuan.

So, Nazrin’s succession to the Perak throne depends on the goodwill of the federal government. But only if the state government is a Barisan Nasional government will there be this goodwill. If Pakatan Rakyat remains the state government, then expect Nazrin to pay the price when his time comes to succeed his father.Furthermore, the Sultan and his family has asked for a lot of things from the Pakatan Rakyat state government, all of which they rejected. Umno will ensure that the Sultan and his family get whatever they want if Barisan Nasional takes over as the Perak state government.

And with that Pakatan Rakyat’s fate was sealed. The Sultan swore in Barisan Nasional as the new Perak state government and Pakatan Rakyat was sent into the opposition aisle.

What was it that the Sultan and his family wanted which Pakatan Rakyat said no to and which Barisan Nasional has now said yes? Yes, let us see how in just a few months the Sultan and his family has suddenly become one of the richest royal families in Malaysia, of course, at the expense of Pakatan Rakyat.

1. Umno gave the Sultan a piece of state land known as lot 183578. The land is approximately 600 acres in size and is at Tanjong Tualang in the district of Kinta. This land has been parked under the name of the Sultan’s proxy, Mohamed Khaair Johari Hj Osman.

2. Umno gave the Sultan a 1,000-acre timber concession along the 11km Gerik-Kupang highway in Ulu Kenderong, Gerik, Hulu Perak. This concession was originally given to Universiti Utara Malaysia. However, it was later revoked and given to Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak whose Chairman is Raja Datuk Seri Ashman Shah Ibni Sultan Azlan Shah.

3. Umno gave the Sultan seven timber concessions at compartments 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 and 49 in the Kenderong Forest Reserve in Hulu Perak. The seven lots, which come to approximately 600 acres, were parked under two proxy companies of the Sultan -- Syarikat Zotonjaya Sdn Bhd and Kibaran Wang Sdn Bhd.

4. Umno is about to approve a proposal for reforestation involving 10,781 hectares. 5,781 hectares is at the Gunung Besout Forest Reserve in Southern Perak while 5,000 hectares is at Pondok Tanjung in the Larut Matang district. The company that will get this huge project is Permatang Utama Sdn Bhd (company registration number 513583-D) whose Executive Chairman is Datuk Seri Ismail Farouk Abdullah, the Sultan’s son-in-law.

5. Further to that, Datuk Seri Ismail Farouk Abdullah was allowed to take over the state-owned Casuarina Hotel in Ipoh for a negotiated cut throat price of only RM43 million whereas it can fetch a far higher price on the open market. The hotel is located in one of the most prime land in Ipoh and just the empty land alone is worth a huge amount of money.

It is not that the Perak Royal Family is destitute. It is more like they are greedy. Raja Datuk Seri Eleena Azlan Shah is a Director of GAMUDA BERHAD and is Malaysia's 25th richest person with assets worth over RM 773 million. This makes her the second richest woman in Malaysia after Puan Sri Chong Chook Yew, who occupies the number 18 slot with more than RM 1 billion in assets.Gamuda Berhad has been awarded more than RM10 billion worth of contracts. It also operates and maintains 230 kilometres of highways plus is a major township and property developer with four township projects involving more than 30,000 houses.

So there you have it. Perakians, in particular the Malays, think that the opposition is not showing the Sultan of Perak the respect he deserves. What they do not know is the Sultan does not deserve any respect. And many are also not aware why the Sultan wanted Pakatan Rakyat kicked out of Perak. Now, we hope, they do.

Malaysian, what are you going to do after knowing this truth?

AG's Report-Nothing New

The STAR wrote today that "The Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board" has not turned in a single ringgit of profit despite making investments of RM41.9mil since its inception in January 1976.The Auditor-General’s Report revealed that the ministry’s subsidiary Pembangunan Pelancongan Nasional Sdn Bhd (Pempena) had not done due diligence before making its investments. Why are we suprised by this report, it is not new in Malaysia where accountability is just a passing statement!

The report also found that seven subsidiary and 17 associated companies under Pempena suffered cumulative losses of RM32.37mil until Dec 31 last year with only one company, the Malaysian Travel Business Sdn Bhd, made a profit of RM438,240 in 2007 after taxes.According to the report, Pempena would record RM40.03mil in overall losses from its investments and initial capital outlay of RM52.86mil for the 24 entities.

The reason cited was that “Pempena has made investments in subsidiary companies that are not viable because it has not done due diligence as a whole before making the investments,” the report said. It added that Pempena’s investments in its seven subsidiary companies and 17 associated companies were not presented and discussed with the board prior to approval.

The board in reply said it would report to the Finance or Tourism Ministry to withdraw the Government’s investments from subsidiaries that failed to declare dividends for three consecutive years. This is another eye washing statement by those resposnible just like the last years report on the

In its response, the board said it would form investment committees on “project basis” if its subsidiaries decided to make new investments.“The audit also found that the board did not have any long-term and short-term strategic plans for the entire organisation,” it said. This is how indeed even the country is managed i.e PKFZ, Sukhoi & Submarines!

Should'nt the entire board be sacked? Just in our wildest dreams will it ever happen in Malaysia. 1 Malaysia; Rakyat diutamakan dan duit di boloskan!(People First and Money Whacked)

BM Jamboree

I could sleep well last night ( 10th October 09) and got up at 4.00am and lied on bed while watching the time go by till 5.00am and got up to get ready, packing the things that I need for my first Jamboree. I guess most of the team members also could not sleep well except for Yazid who was knocked off yesterday after his company event! We met as usual at Dinas and I was the first to be there followed by Yazid, Arthur, Idris, Tee and Suffian. We loaded our bikes onto Idris 4x2 pickup truck and headed towards Mengkuang Dam. Once we reached the road heading towards the Dam, we realized that the traffic was heavy hence Idris had to move inch by inch to reach the Dam.
All of us were excited about this jamboree as this is the very first for the Sungai Ara Bike Pusher Gang (SABP) as this has been a dream for Suffian for a long time and we would like to acknowledge his effort on this! There was an ocean of riders along the road some doing warm up or preparing for the jamboree. We saddled in our bikes and headed towards the starting line, boy there were some few hundred bikers already ahead of us . We were leading the pack from the backline as it was impossible to move to the starting line and as if we need to! We took this opportunity to snap as many photographs as possible at the starting line.
The siren was blown and all hell broke loose with bikers making themselves to be among the lead, we tried to follow the crowd and the early morning view of the dam was breathtaking! Our joy ride was short lived as we came to the foothill and could not cycle further and all of us pushed our bikes. We heard Arthur saying to Tee that he’ll stick to him and to that we all said we’ll bet that won’t last a minute and to our prediction as usual he broke away from the group and disappeared among the other bikers. I was talking to the other riders while pushing the bike going up the hill. It was merely impossible to go any faster as every one of the bikers were pushing their bike till we reach the first peak and the group begin to break on a ride now. It was downhill ride for while and we headed towards the main road which took us towards the second hill and as usual the regular push for while and ride till we come to the third red earth hill. I pushed as usual and by now none of the other team members were insight! I was among other bikers and made it to the top and started to paddle. I was riding till I saw Tee and Yazid pushing their bike s and heard Tee asking for chain cutter, I could not helped but move on and asked everyone on sights if they have a cutter even the Marshalls, none had any and I felt sorry for both of them.
I continued to cycle knowing that the rest of the team members were ahead of me, it was a familiar trail as we have been there last week to try out the trail! Reached the first Pitt Stop and collected the sticker and moved to the second one as well. During the descend going downhill at the rubber plantation as the trail was both steep and rugged with the trees roots protruding out the earth which caused a bottleneck by the slow moving bikers. Suddenly the rider before me stopped and I tried to avoid him but applied more pressure on my brakes which cause the back tires to flipped over which in turn tossed me out of my saddle. I could see the earth moving below me with my head going first, I realized that if I did not do something I may go head on which may turn out to be not a good idea. I turned my body thus allowing the body to hit the earth rather than my head and had some minor bruises on my head, leg and knees but I picked up and continued the journey. Suffian overtook me just before the under pass near the Shell station as he was moving fast, this guys is a power house!
It was challenging ride after the rubber trees as it was a new route for me yet I continued into an unknown territory following the rest of the bikers. The distance between the second pit stop and the third was indeed a long distance as I was wondering when it will ever come in sight. The number of streams that we need to go over was between 4-5 and at each and every one it was filled with soggy dirty mud and it made us difficult to cross over . While I crossed the first stream, I caught my left leg in the water and later my right leg in the mud somewhere else! We even needed to carry our bikes over the steams at times and we formed human chain to help each other to get over the stream and the one with planks was out of this world. Some bikers slipped and fell in the mud stream and I can’t remember how many times I skidded while riding or even while pushing my bike. Met Idris and we both pushed the bike for a while till I lost sight of him later and at another hill at the electric cable tower I met Arthur and we pushed for a while but parted way then. I continued my ride till the third and forth pit stop to collect my sticker. Just after crossing the main road leading into the palm trees we saw few ladies with boxes of 100 plus and mineral water and thought it to be the third pit stop but came to know that she was selling it! Must been a brisk business as she was greeted by many thirsty riders and I came to know from Tee that he ordered three cans just to quench his thirst! Three cans..mmm!
The final stretch was real killer with narrow path overlooking the dam where most of the riders need to push or even carry our bikes. If we miss our footing we’ll be over the steep cliff or even land into the dam which can be detrimental. It was difficult for all the riders as many were pushing downhill till the road leading to the dam came in sight. Finally at last the sight of the finishing line audible as the speaker from the starting line tent was blaring and it was a relive to hear that this painful agonizing ride is finally coming to an end! It was a fantastic feeling coming to the cross line and I was greeted by suffian and Yazid who made it to the finishing line ahead of me. I wondered when did Yazid overtook me? I came in number 391 which was a great surprise for me, yet it was indeed a pleasant surprise. I felt both relief and accomplished to complete my very first Jamboree! We waited for the rest of the team to finish the race as one by one came through and we sat down chatting exchanging our experiences throughout the ride over lunch to which Suffian mentioned that he was not hungry but after taking the first mouthful he claimed to be very hungry now. Must be his taste buds influencing his stomach!
Arthur was the one with a whole lot to tell us of his fortunes or rather misfortunes ; his tire punctured first, later both his tires and also his chain converter dropped off. We were wondering only a man of this courage could continue the ride under such conditions. Bravo Arthur or is it King Arthur! That’s nothing compared to Yazid who rode without any bicycle chain and managed it to the finishing line! We were worried about Tee as we could not see him so I tried calling him but his phone was out of range or coverage and as usual he was helping people along the way and that is the reason why he was late to the finishing line. He and Idris are two good people with good heart in helping people and I am glad that you guys are in our team! Overall it was satisfying ride to all of us as we got the finishing medal to show off! We took many photos to cherish our accomplishment and it was worth all the pain that we went through! Will we do it again, you bet we will!

What an experience-BM Jamboree

Saturday the 3rd is the day the “Bike Pushers Gang” was getting ready to try out the BM Jamboree Trail before the actual competition next week as part of our rigid training preparing to meet the challenges of our first jamboree together. ( talk about shiok sendiri). We planned to meet at Dinas at 6.15am and I got up at 5.00am because I could not sleep peacefully as my dreams were all about riding and the jamboree, so I decided to get up and get ready to head towards Dinas. It was dark and I do not have any bike lights…shame on me for not buying it any sooner. I was there first and no one was at sight, later Idris came and followed by Suri, Suffian and Yazid. Murphy’s Law came true when things go wrong they will definitely go wrong as Sufian's bike hit a double-whammy of flat tires bur our own Major Suri saved the day with his technical prowess by changing the tires not once but twice and Suffian was feeling bit uncomfortable for holding us back. We did not gave him a chance to back up as he has been training secretly practically every day to gear up for the Jamboree!

Idris "bike-mobile", which is not a 4x4 but a 5x5 (5person with 5 bikes) was loaded onto his pickup truck and he even suggested that his truck can carry 6 bikes but the last passenger need to be tied on the truck’s roof top! We met and greeted the Cranky's team at trail start which was a flat hard-packed “ tanah merah’ (red earth) path. Some twenty riders assembled slowly at the meeting point and we quickly made friends and Suffian seems to know quite a number them, which is nothing to be surprised about. I met Ang Poh Hin and several others whom I could not remember names but two less serious riders by the name of Lau and KK warmed up with few jokes on how we are going to manage this ride!

The first 5-10 minutes were pleasant till we reached the foot hill of Bkt Langkap where the painful long and very steep ascend on tarmac started it was a real challenge to most of us but surprisingly Yazid who claims not to have trained since Puasa ( fasting days) were among the lead and I was trailing behind with Lau and KK.

It was really a difficult climb as usual we lived up to our team motto…if you can’t ride..don’t push yourself but instead push the bike. We pushed our bikes and the four of us sticked together; Yazid, KK, Lau and I. After climbing two hills the aerial view of Mengkuang Dam was an awesome and we took some photos as it is a must in our every ride. The path led to a rocky and loose rock trail then followed by uphill soft red earth (tanah-merah). Our tires collected the mud along the way and the bike weigh as if it added 10kg going thru the uphill till we reached the palm trees. Suri, Idris Suffian and few more rides were awaiting the fabulous four to join them and it followed with photo session as we wanted to look good and to show to our spouses as a symbol of achievement.

The ride through the palm estate was great followed by the rubber estate was equally bumpy and rough as the tree roots were protruding above the earth that gave us some excitement going downhill. We found another downhill hero in KK as he was going very fast till we lost sight of him many times.

Finally we reached the underpass and made a pit-stop at the BKE Shell station wanting to know which way to head back. We heard that one cranky member met in a little accident and Sufian helped him to BKE Shell gas station. While resting a while the other team members came and said that we could not pursue through the rubber tree trail as there are no indicators on how to head back to the Kampung. We decided to head back using an alternative road and but came to a dead end after a while! We became creative in managing ourselves out of it by sneaking and crawling under the fence to come to the main road. It was total teamwork that all our bikes were safely carried under the fence and we rode on the expressway. Within minutes all of them disappeared including Yazid as I was slowly enjoying the ride hence I need to catch up L ater I heard that Suri broke the 40km speed as he tried Pak Shah's technique. What was the technique only a few of us know that include Idris, Suffian, Yazid and I! It was wonderful experience which shall be in memories for a while and we are looking forward to next week for the real challenge!

Semi Value...or less value

There have been numerous calls on Dato Samy Value to resign as he has become a liability to BN, and now by his former boss Mahathir joins the bandwagon. Now finger pointing has started between the former premier and Semi Value. SV even quoted saying that Mahathir's call was akin a new wife becoming old and the husband wanted to take in a second wife. Emmm..only from Semi Value would come such a methaphor. Any way I do not understand why BN is still hoping for MIC's revival thus hoping that the Indian community will once again support BN through MIC? We thought that UMNO and BN would have learned a lesson after the 12th GE but alas...this fellars seems like will never learn any!MIC is history and Semi Value can be its life time President as he like and I guess the majority of Indian community cares hood of him and his honchos! They took away everything from the Indians and could not even manage MAIKA Holdings that could possibly hold some equity..a bunch of idiots were given 100million to gamble and gamble they did with the Indians future. So Najib, pls go ahead and work with MIC and we'll ensure that BN/UMNO is gone in the next election.....

Kerismuddin did it again

The latest news head line "Noordin could have been rehabilitated", Hishammuddin said and it was broadcasted over the electronic media.
He further said “What he did was wrong. We don’t condone what he did. I am sad that we did not get to rehabilitate him, like we have done with many others, including Jemaah Islamiah militants." He went on to say “I am sad because a life is a life,”
Hishammuddin said the Government would help Noordin’s family bring the body back after the authorities completed their investigations.
This is the home ministry! Aiyoo…how stupid can this UMNO fellar be?
Dai..monkey he was a terrorist who was responsible for the killing of many innocent lives. By the way how about those died in Police and MACC custody? Aren’t theirs life as well or are they are lesser being just because they are not of your race? He is prepared to rehabilitate terrorist …aiyo what the @%#@! Is happening to this country? Only in Bolehland can a Minister make such statements!

F1 Malaysia

Najib declared the 1Malaysia F1 Team car would be designed and made by Malaysians in Malaysia and the team would participating in Formula One race starting next year.

He said that the project would be a joint government and private sector initiative with the government investment through Proton, the national car manufacturer. According to news reports, it is estimated that at least RM1 billion a year is needed to keep the FI team.
My god a budget of 1 Billion dollars for a racing car!
Guess who is supporting this idea, non- other than Mahathir Mohamad where he said the value of advertisement benefits derived from the country's F1 team is 100 times more than the cost of investment for the team. I wonder how did he derived to that theory?

He further reiterated that it not a waste of money to invest in the country's F1 team as the advantages, including tourism and technological advancement, had always outweighed the disadvantages. According to this so called seasoned economist the value of advertisement benefits derived from the country's F1 team is 100 times more than the cost of investment for the team!
Then I strongly “sokong” this idea and by the way why not we have two teams as the logic is that we will have double the number of tourist and an increase in technology advancement!
He said investing in an F1 team was not merely about motor racing as technology developed for the motor racing engine could be applied for the country's automotive industry. Yeah like the one that you did with Proton? Here the ex-PM seems to now about Micro and Macro Economics!
Hello Proton is dying or already dead and it was Mahathir’s pet project!

Another enigma in Bolehland

The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) visited Malaysiakini office to investigate the “ deemed offensive” cow-head videos. A team of seven-member MCMC team, which included three digital forensics experts, demanded Malaysiakini to hand over the original tapes of the two videos.

They sought to copy certain parts of the hard disk from two Malaysiakini computers used to edit and upload the videos. According to MCMC monitoring and enforcement division senior acting director Abdul Halim Ahman, in his letter, the display of both videos on the news portal "is an offence under Section 211/233 of the CMA".
There you go, they should be going after the UMNO Hereos who were involved in the cow head incident and Kerismuddin for making such a remark but instead they are going after the alternative press for posting the videos. Not once but thrice they visited Malaysikini office and conducted investigation. How about the some Malay portals which are posting derogative pictures and articles that certainly will offend other races? When is MCMC officers going to confiscate or at least raid such offices or people? Baruah betul!

PM says UMNO is Islamic

The Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said Umno is truly an Islamic party although it does not use the 'Islamic label' in championing the cause of Islam and the country as quoted by Malaysiakini. He said Umno had actually looked after and raised the living standards of the Muslims by eradicating poverty through various government programmes especially the Felda land schemes. He questioned the Felda settlers "In Islam, poverty is akin to sacrilege and for the past 53 years, Umno had strived to eradicate poverty among the Muslims by opening Felda land schemes. Is this not demanded by Islam?" he said when attending a breaking of the fast at Felda Teloi Timor today.
Is he justifying that making money in whatever way is the right thing to do? Thus corruption is an accepted culture in Malaysia! Interesting thought.
He lamented that it was my late father (Abdul Razak) who had set up Felda. He used to walk with his walking stick and wore the bush jacket, walking hundreds of miles purely to give land and eradicate poverty," he said. Wow... the PM is still living on his father’s glory!

Religious Tolerance in Malaysia

It is indeed a sad day for the Indians and Malaysian at large. Why some of you may ask? The Shah Alam incident is an classic example how we have moved backward in civilisation. Tolerance and civility died today! How can the majority Malays stand by doing nothing? I call them Malays as they are certainly not Muslim in my vocabulary. They are claiming that Section 23 is a Malay majority so the temple should not be built there. Just because it is a Malay majority other places of worship should not be build. How about a Surau or a mosque build in a Chinese or Indian majority and how about in Sabah and Sarawak. Should the non-muslims stage a nation wide street protest demanding that suraus and mosques not to be build in a non-malay majority? Can you imagine the mayhem that will surely follow if that happens? Where in Islam or the Quran it is mentioned that non-believers places of worship should not be build? If this is not a political in nature, I wonder what it is! Just listen to Kerismudin doing a flip flop in his statements after meeting with the so called residents of Shah Alam. This make me think some politician are willing to destroy this country for their own benefit?

The so called Muslims

"Woi, kaulah pengkhianat…pengkhianat agamalah pukimak!" cemuhnya.
Cemuhan itu disorak oleh beberapa individu lain yang dipercayai dari kenalan rapat Hj. Azmir.
"Aku tak nak dengar kau cakap. Duduk! Duduk YB bodoh! Duduk," cemuhnya.
"Hoi Khalid (Samad), kau duduk. Kau belum kenal aku siapa? Selepas ini, kau jangan turun Seksyen 23, kalau tidak, kau mati. Ini kawasan majoriti Melayu!"
"Bodoh punya wakil rakyat. Bodoh punya MB. Khalid (Ibrahim), kenapa kau cakap terketar-ketar. Kau gagap. Orang gagap tak boleh jadi MB (Menteri Besar)!"

I thought this is the fasting month? How can a Muslim use such abusive words against another Muslim? Wonder how they'll treat non-muslims.

Kerismudin's U Turn

I read this Patrick Teoh's blog NIAMAH. This is a classic cas ehow dumb our Home Minister is just like the one before. Conclusion say "Tak Nak to UMNO Products"

No lah. Diorang achah aje. Joking only. You give me a couple of days and I will say something completely different la. Boleh?
The animal manure that can be gathered from just ONE press conference by Hishamuddin Hussein can fertilise hectares of Malaysian soil. Just take a whiff of what was reported in The Malaysian Insider yesterday.
Headline: Hisham defends cow-head protestors

Quotes: "They felt victimised and feel that there is another valid explanation on their part. There was no intention on their part to cause racial divide."
Ah so...of course. That's why they organised a march with screaming banners and fiery speeches and shouted about majority and minority races.

"(they) didn’t even know that somebody was going to bring the head of the cow during that demonstration."
Ah so...of course. But since somebody brought it along it would not be polite to refuse the offering ya? Oh. while we're at it might as well stomp on it and spit on it as well.

"If I wanted to use the issue to create chaos in Selangor, I can but we didn’t take such actions"
Ah so...of course. You are an elected people's representative and a Yang Berhormat and so you can say silly things like this. You can create chaos but out of the kindness of your heart (not common sense mind you) you won't la. Ribuan terima kasih, YB.

"I have it in my records to show there were cases where a pig-head was used by irresponsible parties including leaving the head in front of an Umno building covered by an Umno flag"
Ah so...of course. Errr...there were cases ah? More than one ah? When? Where? Who? Tell us la so we can also kick their asses instead of just yours. Oh by the way, while you're at it also tell us how your people handled those cases. Were they as understanding as your goodself?

"If it can be resolved quickly and can be done with both sides understanding each other ... why would we want to penalise anybody?"

Ah so...of course. You are such a magnanimous minister. Your late father would have been proud. And I love the last part of your statement..."why would we want to penalise anybody?" Damn blaardy classic la.

There you go, if this government is not chnaged soon they'll rape this country and leave it dry!

Another news of Semi Value

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Datuk Seri Samy Vellu Sangalimuthu is the longest serving President of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), a component party of Barisan Nasional. He has held this post for 11 consecutive terms since 1979 and is the longest serving minister in Malaysia’s Cabinet until his defeat in the 12th General Election in March 2008.
Samy Vellu is the founder and Chairman of the Maju Institute of Educational Development (MIED), a non-profit charity organisation that provides educational loans and scholarships to deserving Indian-Malaysian students.
Ms P. Chitrakala Vasu, a former senior officer of MIED, alleges that Samy Vellu had siphoned out RM2 million in government funds that had been allocated to a MIC welfare foundation. She also made two reports in Shah Alam urging the police to probe the whereabouts of the MIED files and also RM2 million in donations collected in 2004 for tsunami victims in Sri Lanka.
She claimed Samy Vellu had asked her to place RM2 million in a fixed deposit in the account of YPS, a party foundation controlled by MIC. Chitrakala has further lodged two police reports in Subang Jaya blaming Samy Vellu for a variety of ills faced by the MIC and the Indian community. She claims that the money was intended for the pockets of MIC branch chairmen and supporters of the incumbent leadership.
It is alleged that Samy Vellu has hijacked 9 million Telekom shares from the original 10 million shares allocated to MAIKA. It seems he used three companies -- Clearway Sdn. Bhd., S.B. Management Services, and Advance Personal Computers Bhd. -- linked to himself, his son S. Vell Paari, and brother-in-law. These companies were used as conduits to swindle these shares. When the scandal first broke in mid-1992, the shares were valued at RM120 million.
In 1994, the then Chairman of the MIC Public Claims Committee, V Subramaniam (a.k.a. "Barat" Maniam), alleged that the accounts have been fabricated to make it appear that the profits from the sale of the Telekom shares were channelled to MIED. "Samy Vellu is a thief,” said Maniam. “He has stolen (Telekom) shares from the Indian community."

Still the so called Indian MIC leaders are still supporting this goon or shall I say they got no b@@@s to do anythng. There you go and more to come next week....

Shah Alam folks to meet Kerismudin

Hisham to meet Section 23 residents
Rahmah Ghazali | Sep 1, 09 2:12pm
This appeared in Malaysiakini today!

Residents of Section 23 in Shah Alam - some of whom who were involved in a ‘cow-head' protest to oppose a relocation of a Hindu temple to their neighbourhood - will meet Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein tomorrow to voice their grievances over the issue.Speaking to reporters in Putrajaya today, the minister said the residents, who have requested an appointment with him, come from "different political ideology" despite speculation that they are all from Umno.Hishammuddin also said the police are still conducting an investigation against the protesters based on 52 police reports lodged so far.He added that the probe will have to be closed before any arrests can be made."But we are not hiding anything from the people... We will take action against anybody who has (affected sensitive issues) but at the same time, we need to be fair to the people concerned (the residents)," he said.

Why is that I find it difficult to believe this guy? Wonder why? I suggest that the Indians in Shah Alam should also meet him to voice their grievances for not allowing to built a temple. The Chinese can join in to appose any building of suraus or mosques in their neighbourhood! Hence we can truly be Malaysia, Happy Merdeka again!

Happy Merdeka

Today our nation celebrates its 52nd Merdeka day and there are still many unanswered questions about unity and racial harmony.
Recently a group of 50 residents of Section 23 in Shah Alam staged the protest against the proposal to relocate a Hindu temple to their area. The protest earned notoriety when a blood-soaked cow's head was paraded, with some of the protesters stomping and spitting on it. Who can we blame on this incident? Is it the UMNO led government’s policies or simply is it because the rakyat have not learned to cohabitate and to cultivate tolerance towards each other. Why is that race relation is so strained in Malaysia?

The Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak was also said to be upset and had ordered the Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan to look into the matter. He called on Malaysians to "repair the bridges and tear down the divisive walls" that exist between the races. Is that all he can say about this issue? What happened to his 1 Malaysia concept? What are his plans to repair the bridges?
The organiser of the protest and residents' action committee chairperson Mahyuddin Manaf distanced himself from the cow's head, saying it had mysteriously appeared on the scene. He also denied that the head was brought with the intention to belittle the Hindu religion. Have some ballslah admit that it was all pre-planned!

The Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar mentioned that he cannot arrest anyone as he have to consult the DPP and compile evidence first. He further simply cannot arrest people and charge them under the Sedition Act,".
Hello you were quick to arrest people when others hold peaceful demonstration? Did you get DDP’s approval or investigate first before arresting them. Let me refresh your memory; Hindraf protest ( you %$#@ used tear gas and water cannon), Kg.Pala residence protest, numerous temple demolition protest were also handled by police baton and tear gas or should I go any further. So Khalid, do not fuck us! This is what happens when one race dominate the government, Army,Police Force, government Institution, CLC CEO’s and other important positions. So Najib do not talk about your 1 Malaysia concept and repairing the bridge as there is no bridge in the first place.
This is what a MIC Youth leader got to say about this incident; he is planning to organize special prayer session called 'Komatha pooja' nationwide. He said that it is not staging a protest but to have prayers to avoid any mishap from befalling this nation and in the spirit of Mederka. Another scumbag who got no balls to stage a nationwide protest or demand an apology from the residence but he goes so holy with holding prayers for peace and harmony. Dai asshole they do care shit about you holding prayers and you can hold as many prayers that you want to hold but things are not going to change! Have some balls!
I guess the Indians also deserve this sort of treatment first for choosing Samy Velu as their Supreme leader and forming many political parties for a mere two million Indian population. If you jokers want to redeem your pride and dignity, do unite under one umbrella like the saying “United We Stand Divide We Fall. Happy Merdeka Day!

PR another deflection

Pakatan Rakyat was rocked with a defection today by the Lunas state assemblyperson Mohd Radzhi Salleh, quit PKR citing loss of confidence in the party’s leadership. He has announced himself as an independent state assemblyman.

He claimed that he'll continue as Lunas seat representative as well as the state executive council post.Radzhi’s decision to quit PKR has not come as a surprise to Padang Serai parliamentarian N Gobalakrishnan as he said that he was expecting it for a long time as the reason been that he was close to Mahdzir Khalid (former Kedah menteri besar),”.Meanwhile, PKR election director Saifuddin Nasution said Radzhi’s defection would not cause much harm to PAS’ bid in winning the Permatang Pasir by-election."We have always suspected this scenario would happen since six to seven months ago. PKR will be better without him.”

Hello if you guys knew about it a long time ago, why didn't you do something about it unless you jokers are clueless as usual just like in Perak. If you guys could not govern the states given to Pakatan Rakyat, how the hell do you expect the rakyat to give you the country in the next general election? Buck uplah PR as time is running out for you folks!

Selamat Berpuasa

I wish all the Muslim friends; "Selamat Berpuasa".

Bridge over trouble water to Sumatra by Ali Rustam

Satu lagi project oleh kerajaan BN(Yet another project by the BN). I read with disbelief the news report that Malacca chief minister Mohd Ali Rustam is considering a proposal to build a bridge from Malacca to Sumatra with an estimated cost of the project is RM44 billion!

Dai @#$$$$*&@, even the second Penang bridge is not completed and there you are proposing for another being the "longest man-made link between two countries". Furthermore he mentioned that an alternative proposal to include an underground tunnel to accompany the bridge across the Straits of Malacca! What a brilliant idea.

His reasons for this proposal:

1) 15 per cent of the funding for the project will come internally ( wonder from where) while the rest from bank borrowings (wonder which bank have such an amount under the economical situation).
2) Malacca has a population of 800,000 and has 40,000 vehicles including buses and lorries entering the state daily ( entering from where Sumatra?).
3) Some 7.2 million tourists entered Malacca last year and furthermore he said in Sumatra, where the bridge is linked through Dumai, there are 70 million people and 10% are rich and they have money and can come to Malacca for health tourism."
4) With 15,000 vehicles a day at RM260 per vehicle works out to about RM4 million in toll collections per day. This means about RM1.5 billion in revenue a year.

Wow what mega money making project from the one time wanna be DPM!

Now lets use our brains for once and ask ourselves the following questions:

1) Why would the rich Sumatrans want to come to Malaysia for health tourism, even so they may not necessarily go to Malacca, KL and Penang have better health care in Malaysia.
2) Why do they want to use the bridge and pay RM 260 per vehicle being rich enables them to fly and more so with many budget airlines where not only the rich but also the ordinary Indonesians are flying ( just check the budget airlines, always full one!)
3) If they take a RM37 billion loan (85% of the estimated RM44 billion) obtained from banks with an interest rate is 5%, the interest expense alone will be RM1.85 billion annually.(Simple maths Revenue - Expenses - Interest rate: 1.5 billion revenue-1.8billion = 0.3Billion deficit) Hoi ingat bapak u akan bayar operating expenses kah!

Enough of satu lagi project oleh kerajaan BN ( another project by the BN government). Take the example of PKFZ with an initial extimates cost of RM2 billion which may eventually cost the country RM12.5 billion. The joke is that the new PM of 1Malaysia is supportive of the idea!I dont believe that these are the guys who are running the state and the country!Aiyo..karavuleh!

Dont pray..pray

Today the MACC Chief Commissioner issued a threat after some hooligans threw Molotov cocktails at a vehicle owned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). He said “Come and get us but be prepared to face the consequences.”
Is this how a senior government official should react? Nazri giving orders to MACC to use guns and kerismuddin apologising to the Police for not giving them FRU to take action during the recent Permatang Pasir nomination. I guess we are becoming a nation of gangsters?
People who are suppose to serve the public are misusing the funds and facilities for non government activities i.e Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin using a military helicopter to travel to Umno division meetings in Sabah. Zahid using the army as escorts for his UMNO campaigns and the Ong fella using jet planes for rides and some MB taking the whole family and maid for holiday during official trips? Wow..what a privilege to be BN members, well protected mah!
The joke is that Muhyiddin claim that he is not scared of the allegations of corruption against him. So, Ong Tee Keat, Zahid & the rest of BN fellas don't worry, everything will be taken care.Kow tim one.

MACC Again

We have been reading lately how efficient the MACC have been as they are very quick to investigate issues pertaining the opposition but not by the members of present government. In Teoh Beng Hock's case he was taken for investigation for mere few thousand dollars yet some ex-MB with an estimated 24million mansion goes unquestioned. It is just one of the many cases that the opposition's reports that have gone unheard. Is this new, i guess not. We can go back in history to see how selective MACC has been in handling cases that seems to be more pro-government than being fair.
It makes one to wonder why is MACC conducting selective investigation? Don't they think that their pay comes from the rakyat and not from the government more so the government itself is only the representative of the people. All their salary and perks derives from the the rakyat and what they do or say. They have the privilege to use the funds as they are the ministers who can use the helicopter or use private jets that they do not have to pay or even having the army to offer protection. Zahid the defense Minister is claiming that he deserve to be protected by the army while campaigning in Permatang Pasir ( think its your grandfathers funds). He has the audacity to make such a statement and he is doung the party's job and not on official visit ( deserve the government that we choose). What to expect Malaysia Boleh mah!
Anyway coming back to the issue of MACC, another minister even suggested them to use guns if necessary after the recent attack on MACC vehicles. If that comes to action well I guess Teoh may not be the last person to die in MACC custody more so some MP or ADUN or an opposition leader may be shot and they may claim that they did in self defence! Very scary thought.
The rakyat should equally be responsible to the state the country is now.Are we living in the state of denial or merely closing an eye being not bothered as our livelihoods are well taken care off and we'll only react when the very essence of freedom is take away from us.If we do not make an attempt to stop this, Malaysia will be robbed of its wealth and it may become a police state. Well that's another topic for another time. Let's not lose sight of the change that we wanted to bring to this nation, keep the fire burning as it is not possible only by a few. Our money is being embezzled by the politician in the name of development and 1Malaysia and our childrens future is at stake. Please make a difference to our childrens future by making the right decision.

Proud to be Malaysian; Wildlife Smuggling Hub

The STAR today covered news that will make all Malaysian proud as we are one of the major hub for wildlife trafficking! Bravo Malaysia, Malaysia Boleh!

KUALA LUMPUR: In 2006, Taiwanese authorities seized a three-tonne shipment of ivory from Tanzania worth RM25mil that had transited Penang port.
An Indian national who was caught with an illegal consignment of Indian star tortoises at the KL International Airport in 2007 said he was paid to bring it into the country for a Malaysian buyer.
In the second half of 2008, 167 pangolins were seized in four enforcement cases in Muar, indicating that the coastline was a thriving entry point for the anteaters from Indonesia. It is believed that the pangolins were destined for the restaurant and traditional medicine trade, as well as the mainland Chinese market.
Early this year, genetic fingerprinting of seized tiger parts in southern Thailand shows that the Malaya tiger, endemic to Malaysia and numbering only 500 in the wild, have been blatantly poached and smuggled through our land borders.
These are some of the cases that point to illegal trafficking of wildlife and its parts, and to Malaysia being a transit point, a source country, as well as a consumer hub for endangered wildlife.

Globally, Interpol estimated the illegal trade to be worth US$10bil (RM35bil) to US$20bil (RM70bil) a year. Wow a big business for Malaysian, wonder if it has 30% Bumi quoted imposed on it?

Kg.Buah Pala,another twist

This article appeared in anilnetto's blog and i am posting it as i too wanted to write something about Lim Guan Eng's statement to the press.
Kg Buah Pala: That RM3.5 million figure...
The Kg Buah Pala villagers have been portrayed as greedy, demanding, and unreasonable. This is partly due to the mixed signals coming from the committee, the seemingly conflicting statements and misrepresentations of those speaking on their behalf including those with vested interests and even those in the state government.
Guan Eng even claimed – incorrectly as it turned out – the villagers want RM3.5 million bungalows or compensation. Where did he get that from? But the damage is already done as it all over the media.
As a result of such statements in the media by those intent on portraying the villagers as greedy – and the village committee’s own public relations blunders along with outsiders taking advantage – public opinion may have swayed against the villagers.
I have been to the village a few times, and I have never heard of a demand for RM3.5 million bungalows or any similar demand.
I did see the RM3.5 million figure mentioned once, in one of the handouts given. But look at the context: that was when the residents were reacting to accusations that they were greedy. They retorted that the real greedy parties were those who were coveting their respective property lots, some of which they claimed could be worth up to RM3.5 million. That’s quite different from asking for compensation of RM3.5 million or demanding a RM3.5 million bungalow.
I contacted Sugumaran, the residents committee chairperson, for comment and he agreed with my observation and said the claim that the villagers wanted RM3.5 million bungalows is baseless. “They are just using that figure to turn public opinion against the villagers and to portray the villagers as unreasonable,” he lamented.
Few have actually walked in their shoes and lived in the village to experience what life is like for them. It’s a different life-style closer to nature than what most city folk can understand – and I don’t claim to fully understand it either. Only the villagers know their real situation and what they really need to continue living in dignity, if and when they are wrenched apart not only from their homes but their land, their livelihoods and their community".

So this is what Anil got to say anout this issue. Lim Guan Eng even asked the press folks if they own a double story house and someone replied to which he diverted the topic to make look the villages as greedy? What kind of stupid question was that and making refenrence to the "people of penang" behind him! He even mentioned that the press should talk to the people of Penang for a poll! So this is how DAP a leader or more so a Chief Minister twist tales! This is good lesson for the Indians to trust politicians rather than to be united to help themselves!

UMNO Ultimate aim

This was in Bernama and it came from a so called Malaysian Ministry - Umno’s training bureau will soon organise a course for Umno Youth division chiefs based on a commando-type training module, Umno vice-President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.

Ahmad Zahid, who is the bureau’s chairman, said the course would enhance resilience and competitiveness among Umno Youth leaders.
“For them to win back the young voters, they need to be resilient and this can be achieve through the commando-style training,” he told reporters after opening the Jasin Umno delegates’ meeting at the Dewan Alamanda, here today.
He said the course would be carried out by the Umno Youth movement, National Civics Bureau (Biro Tatanegara) and the Malaysia Veteran Commandos Club.
“This was the kind of course we had when Datuk Seri Najib Razak was the youth chief.
“Camaraderie needs to be instilled in today’s youths; that is why (Umno Youth Chief) Khairy Jamaluddin and his executive council members have agreed to take part in the course, to be held soon,” he said.
The training bureau would also provide a course with a different module for Wanita and Puteri Umno leaders, he said.

Dear readers please make up your mind on the direction of this nation under UMNO! Beware of UMNO leaders!

Demonstrasi budaya siapa?
